Beanie Baby

I for one am becoming increasingly concerned about all the publicitu electronic reading gadgets are getting. It is a complete OUTRAGE!!! Anyway, this (wonderfully spontaneous) poem came to me yesterday, got tweaked at 7 o' clock this morning and is now here for everyonne to see. Please print it off and put it up in your window, or send it to your local book shop (I have ten copies I am sending off today) because if we writers can't stop this scandal, nothing will!!!!! 

A couple more haiku. I am enjoying experimenting with the 17-syllable form. Any feedback gratefully received. 

Just to prove to my anxious fellow writers that I am coming out of depression, here is something quite light...

Little challenge I set myself - sit down at Writewords and write six haiku there and then. What do you think? 

A little bit of sheer blood and guts determination here but I know most writers will identify with it. 

Did anyone see that recent news item about the theme park ride that left dozens of people hanging upside down for quarter of an hour? I know it wasn't a laughing matter - but I just couldn't help myself with this poem - God forgive me!!!!!!

Having just become unemployed at the age of 48, this is how I am feeling ... 

This is one of those poems that comes complete and this one came when I walked past a wedding party coming out of the local registry office a couple of weekends ago. 

Wrote this shortly after a series of rejections. I don't mean to preach; but I do have a friend in God and I wanted to share this with you.
