This is a bit of a rushed, out of the blue response to the exercise, but posting it as it is for now. 

I didn't work on it as I don't think it's going to do any more than this! I like the exercise - will have another go soon and see if something better comes of it. 

I've not managed to write anything for the exercises yet so thought I'd post something that I wrote for fun this morning instead. Help in polishing it would be really appreciated as it's not something I've spent any time on yet.

I promise to try again soon and do this exercise justice! 

'A feline presence' exercise (through machinery, roll of plaster, metal owl, and paint tube) 

It's not perfect, or even that great, but it feels like a major achievement nonetheless - I found it so hard to write in this way. 

I wrote this a short while ago and have had a little go at working on it but most of it is still as it came out. Any advice would be really good thanks. 

This is my first 'finished' short story. I'd very much appreciate some advice on how to work on it as I really like the idea and would like to make it into something good. (I'm very happy with bits of it though). No pressure to read it quickly! 

It was meant to be a Vireley but it's not really. It's a little rough too as I've not known really how to work on it to make it more of something. 

My second attempt at a Ghazal. New draft, with much help from all you lot! 

At last! I've written something. I've not made any attempt to work at it yet, but I'm glad that at least something's come from the exercise. Thankyou Nell.
