Children can teach us adults one or two things when it comes to having blind faith. 

We all sacrifice in small ways. Some sacrifices are too hideous to think about and some are just living...

Water the most wonderful life giving source 

People do not accept others easily if they are different. It could be one's own community or other communities. This poem is just that exploration of confusion based on the famously coined quote which is the title. 

Water is a precious thing. For survival of life water is gold. 

Dedicated to many Asian women whose lives have been hard. 

A short story describing the power of thread to overcome supernatural happenings. 

I have been asked to send a synopsis and chapters from this story. I have done the synopsis as below. I would appreciate any feedback on this. I have not finished this story but I hope to very soon. 

A confession - this story is inspired by what had happened to a friend of mine some years ago. I did not know her when she was going through this phase. I meet her when she was struggling to finish her MBA and make a life for herself, because I employed her to work with me. In this chapter she is presented with some options. Out of interest I would like to know from readers of this story what option she took. I will reveal all in the last chapter about her struggles.  

Twinkle Gala/Sen's story continues in this reminiscence of her life since her arrival in UK to attend her best friends wedding. I am still writing the final 2 chapters to this story. 

This fictional account came about from a discussion of inter-racial marriages. During the discussion a lot of unhappiness was evident and I wanted show that with understanding and adjustments such marriages could be successful. I have cousins who are married to white girls and are happy. We all meet each other at Diwali, Christmas etc. Life is too short so when you find love and happiness, whenever it comes, grab it. 

It’s a story about a young Indian girl who is invited to her friends wedding in England where she meets a young Indian man and falls in love. They marry only to find he did it for his own goals and the girl is abandoned. It is about how she fights back and fulfils her dreams.
