This is a synopsis of my new teen fic idea. It's to send to my agent, so she can check out the plot before I take it further. Plot is my weakness, so I want to know if this is the sort of thing that would keep someone reading. Oh, for anyone who remembers Tash and Kev, this is the same setting and Emma was a character in that. 

This is the opening five pages and synopsis (which is subject to minor changes as I haven't finished the novel yet) of Gonna B, a teenage novel about a fourteen year-old girl's obsession with a boy band. 

Hi all. This is the revised chapter one after I took out that listing of the bandmembers. I've added a bit more about Lucy's Owen fixation, basically. Does it drag anywhere (especially as it's all first person without any dialogue or anything)? I'm particularly interested to know if the 'imagining' paragraph works or whether I should take it out (If I do, at just under 1000 words, is the chapter too short without it??). Cheers! 

Hello, this is the start of a new novel which is aimed at teenagers. It's about a group of teenagers following a boy band around, but will hopefully also be a humourous and scathing attack on our empty, celebrity-obsessed culture, with a moral for the kids. Or something like that. This is a very rough first chapter. All opinions welcome. Cheers!

More from my satirical teen novel about some girls stalking a boy band. Thanks to Cassandra/Elizabeth and Colin, I've had a go at putting a kind of bandmember introduction as a prologue. It's meant to be an extract from the Gonna B fansite. Does it read convincingly as this? And is it not too much of a boring list to kick off the novel with? Cheers.

I've edited this chapter so that the pregnancy thing doesn't suddenly come as a complete surprise in the middle of it. Thank you so much everyone for helping me realise that was the problem with it before! If anyone could give this version a quick read to check it works better, I'd be very grateful!

Hi all, Yep I'm still doing some more edits on this damned novel after further discussions with agent. This is a new chapter I've slotted in, although you may recognise bits of the beginning and end from other bits I've posted. I'm mainly interested on what people think of the fight/knife incident. Is it convincing? Is there enough tension/feeling in it? Cheers!
