A short piece on the abuse of idealism by self-serving expediency and on how to approach the matter. Acquiesce or do something about it...? 

In an age of outcome, essence has been forgotten. Yet, with time, it grows ever so stronger, and, at one fateful point in time, it shall burst through the seams, releasing the vital force from its cell... 

How do we know that the overwhelming phenomena we face in this world are not the byproducts of organisms that are so beyond our scale that we cannot conceive of them as they truly are? 

A lonely night at my favourite rock bar, listening to immortal tunes and chucking down Belgian Ales. The barman is a magician, juggling spirits and CDs all at once. Not a drop is spilled, not a note is missed. I ask for pen and paper and reach the end of the line. One year later, the barman, a good person and friend, dies in a plane crash. This is for him. 

A post-modern presentation that melds the two characters engaged in dialogue into one entity while superpositioning object and subject in one shifting identity of many possibilities that can collapse into definite form only after deliberate observation. Designed to bend the mind and frustrate any straightforward interpretation, this is a Quantum Poem.
