This is the rampant evolution
Of our species,
Of our nation,
Of our singular creations,
Of our sorrows and damnations,
Of our living aspirations,
Of our visions,
Of our lives,
Of our fear to say goodbye,
Of our morrows,
Of our past,
Of our need to make it last,
Of our errors and regrets,
Of our terrors, of our frets,
Of our hopes and of our dreams,
Of our progress and our streams,
Of our love for those we kiss,
Of our love for those we miss,
Of our wants for something good,
Of our hopes for something better,
Of our dreams for something greater
Than our daily setting suns.
Of our species,
Of our nation,
Of our singular creations,
Of our sorrows and damnations,
Of our living aspirations,
Of our visions,
Of our lives,
Of our fear to say goodbye,
Of our morrows,
Of our past,
Of our need to make it last,
Of our errors and regrets,
Of our terrors, of our frets,
Of our hopes and of our dreams,
Of our progress and our streams,
Of our love for those we kiss,
Of our love for those we miss,
Of our wants for something good,
Of our hopes for something better,
Of our dreams for something greater
Than our daily setting suns.
