A suggestion if I may. I'm currently frustrated by the inability to create links on most of the showcase pages, using the {url} tag, or even via HTML. For example (and perhaps I'm just using this wrong), the list of works page seems to be functioning as exactly that, and I can't find a way to physically link to those works from this page. Also, on the 'contact' page, since I'm assuming nobody is going to list their home address and telephone number, the ability to link to either an e-mail or another page with a contact form would be helpful.

Also, do we really need to have the same picture displayed on every page? Viewing my distorted mug on the home page is traumatic enough for anyone. Subjecting them to it several times is just cruel.

IB - the usual [ and ] links should work on all pages now, as well as anything beginning with http://
I'll look into the email linking. Things like the picture on every page etc we may add a bit more flexibility into things once it's been running for a while, and we see how people are using it a bit more - this is a 'Version 1'.

one thing I would note is that the reviews section is for peoples reviews of your work...I understand why, but looking at showcases so far most people have used this section for their reviews of other things. Can we not have both, maybe? I say this because peoples reviews of other things are going to be longer and the formatting at the moment may not quite suit that...welcome others thoughts - that's if the above rambling made any sense!

Besides Anthony James, you really look like someone but I can't quite work it out James A. Don't worry - nuthin' to do with communism. Though if you take that little beard off Lenin...nah, not quite.

Anyone got any ideas? I will find out...oh yes.

And IB lookin' very business like. Never knew you were such a studmuffin mate (not that I'm gay or ought)

Come on lets have more. I can't upload pic yet coz only digital one I have is an old one of me next to a spitfire, which is cool but I look like a ponce with shite hair (Nothin new there then!)

More please for us bored bored lackeys who are trailing through a years worth of chequebooks and then...zzzzzzzzzz....

    Yawn...was I saying something?

    More...PLEASE?

    Luv n' Communist lackeys

Well, this IS bloody marvellous, been loking forward to sitting down and creating all day - but I'm already pissed off.

I went to one of those booths to have my picture taken specially this morning and then scanned it in. Now, though my file extension says its a jpg I just keep getting an error telling me it must be Jpg in order to upload, and I can't find a way to change it to the other type....then I carefully created a link to each one of my poems to appear on the List of Works page but, though I'm following the [url=],etc in microscopic detail, when I create the page I just get the string of typing and no link.
Is mine the only one that's not working? Is it because I'm on a Mac?Am I just completely hopeless and doing it all wrong? Does no one like me anymore and this is your way of telling me?

I'm in a massive sulk and am going off to eat 25 packets of custard creams, cry and then be sick.

Oh, Jumb, you look so sweet! Lovely to see you at last.
I'm having problems with my photo, but David seems to be loking into it, so maybe soon you'll be able to put a face to my ramblings.

Oh and anyone else having problems with adding links to works on the WW site, on the 'List Work' page, make sure you do it in the description bit, not the Title bit, that's why mine wasn't working yesterday. (And I worked that out alll by myself)

This is fun. I can see everyone spending so much time playing around whith their new toy that not much writing will get done over the next few days!

Just caught yours - if you see what I mean! Nice to see the face behind the voice. And to learn a little more. A school in NW London. Where? Go on, give us a tc (tiny clue).

And Yes, Dee, where is yours? Hope we get to see it soon!

And 'yummy' - not been called that for a while! Not ever, actually. And you're not as bleary eyed as you thought you were - I changed the photo over night.

See you all at the RLG. I meant to call you ......
