I don't actually know the story of Little Dorit, so I'm really hooked into this.

Yeah, I saw it and enjoyed it. I loved the whole sordid, dusty, dirty air of the places featured, particularly hte house where Little Dorrit worked and also the debtors jail where her father was living in his strangely large quarters.

I loved it too - your daughter's doing really well isn't she SB? can't wait for Part Two!

I loved that decaying room above the shop - all the japanned work on the walls, all the visual links with the family trade in China. Brilliant. Really atmospheric. I can't wait for the next episode. Isn't it great when there's something you really want to watch on tv.
