Profile I recently lost my wife to cancer and have started writing to fill the loneliness void. I have written one book on Ireland during the war years - mostly of tales recounted to me by my father.I am in the middle of another on Africa - Zambia - and the spread of aids. I have submitted the synopsis and 2 chapters of the first to Random House but have already had a rejection letter. However it is really of interest to Irish readers so I have sent it to Penguin in Dublin and await their reply.
