Profile	I was originally born in the US, studied high school and university in Japan, and moved to Britain when I was 26. I translate Japanese economic and industry research into English for an investment bank. I started writing short stories around five years ago for my own enjoyment and have developed a real interest in a future-shock concept involving a fundamentalist Christian totalitarian America (a la Margaret Atwood; not hard to imagine is it...).
