Profile John Jackson is now retired and living in York. An avid genealogist, he found a rich vein of ancestors going back many generations. They include peers, parsons, and naval and military men. They opened up Canada and Australia and fought at Waterloo. A chance meeting with some authors, have led him to turn his efforts to setting down some stories, especially now he has the time to do so. He is a keen member of the Romantic Novelists Association and is part of their New Writers Scheme.
