Profile I Am freelance writer and theatre director, chiefly known for co-creating and scripting the original stage version of The 39 Steps. founded Midsommer Actors` Co. - touring promenade theatre(1990-1999), for which I wrote many plays, mainly adapted from classic stories, The Hound of the Baskervilles being perhaps the best. I have had work produced by many companies both in the UK and world-wide. Currently writing Sward - a play set in a hay meadow, for Blaize Theatre Co.
