This is a story about a young boy who lives on a farm next to a family on an Amish farm. He and a daughter of the Amish family fall in love at childhood and face incredible pressures as their love grows over time.

My hope is to chronicle a kids ambition which blinds him a bit morally and see how the results of bad decisions compound and once made they cannot be undone. The antagonist in the story is figuratively the same character two decades later. There is some redemption available on the path they both take, but it is diminished due to their choices
