Profile After studying engineering (and finding I didn`t like it) I became a primary teacher. After a decade in the UK I went to Sudan where I have taught for the last two years. This year I am combining experiences to oversee the development of a new school in Khartoum. I write because I always have... I always draw pleasure from it. Sometimes I write to entertain my friends and at ther times to entertain myself.

This is a synopsis for a comedy musical I wrote for a school production a friend is putting on next week. The actors will be aged between 8-11 years old. The songs are provided by my friend, whose a bit of a musical nut.

I wrote this partly in response to Tolstoy's novel 'Ressurection' which I had read and that had neary been flung out of the window on more than once. I then read the essay by Orwell of the same title as the story and decided to have a little fun. I don't think is especially good, but there are passages that please me.
