She graduated with honors from Norfolk State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Information Technology. Kennesha has become a member of several honor societies: Kappa Alpha Mu, Golden Key and Spartan Alpha Tau. Along with those honors, she has received recognition for the Vice-Presidential Parsons Scholar Award, Who`s Who Among American Colleges and Universities, and the National Dean`s List.
