| Katharine was trained as a neuroscientist. She is writing a biography of her father Sholto Douglas, and has written articles for the International Brigades Memorial Trust, RAF Museum, 43 Fighter Squadron, and Christ Church College Oxford. She has appeared in the BBC documentary “Fighting for King and Empire: Britain’s Caribbean Heroes”. Recently, she was asked to write a chapter about her uncle Donald Douglas as part of the memoir of his first wife Anita Bild, to be published by Verlag in 2018.
