Heads up.

This book has been on the Radio 4 book of the week (9.45 a.m. each day) all this week. Now sadly ended. It should still be available for a short period on I-Player.

If at all possible - don't miss it!!!!

Whether you like maths or hate it - just give it a chance. It is one of the best written, most evocative little pieces I have ever heard on R4 - and that's saying something.

Perfectly read. This is prose poetry with a sense of passion and wonder for what we often think of as the definitively 'dry' subject.
