I did this for my GCSE English Lit in 1994. I have just re-read it, and it blew me away. It is structurally perfect, and every character is brilliantly drawn. Pip's journey to 'goodness' (I hate that word) is deftly and humanely handled. I think it might be one of the finest novels ever written.
