We.., I'm determined to do this bugger, being the only poet and all, I feel I have to represent my species....but I'm damned if I can cunjor up the slightest inspiration for it.

Not quite sure what to do. I don't suppose anyone's out there with TWO ideas for their piece and they could lend me the one they're NOT writing? ( silence almost intimidating in its deadliness)..No, thought not.

tc - I had an idea along the lines of Noah's ark getting all out of sinc because one of the parrots died and then not finding land like they were supposed to - loss of illusions and all that.

Otherwise some sort of zoo break-out where the parrot was a key player...

Yeah, but not THAT budding, eg! If anything was guaranteed to send me flying back into the welcome arms of poetry, that line was it!

I'm also having trouble shaking off Monty Python-esque ideas, which I know I could never pull off...Jumb, you've hung me out to dry with this one!
But, its only Feb 2nd - 27 more days for ideas to ferment, (she said hopefully)
I've decided short and sweet is the way to approach it, beyond that, I'm all of a dither.
