Well, mine is posted. Can't say I'm proud of it, but I'm proud that I had a go. I have thought long and hard, and I don't think that I have ever written a short story!

I don't like to ask this but being a sod I will how come you are struggling you had a head start on the rest of us just to remind you it was your line

It's been a real conspiracy of circumstance, which has meant that I've had no time to write the damn thing. I even have the story plan noted down (which is almost unheard of for me). Things just keep getting in the way.

I spent about 65hrs of last week at work, because everything that could have gone wrong did. Last night some of the charming local kids set fire to stuff and managed to burn down the fences at the back of our garden, and some of the neighbors too, so that was last night gone. Tonight I have to play football (it's five-a-side and we have exactly five players, so no substitutes.)

I have decided not to go to bed on Wednesday night until it is done.

No pressure, could be a long night!
