I'm describing a place a bit inland from Coruna, Spain (only because I like the name) I need the landscape there to be a dusty plain. Would that be apt to that area? Any help appreciated.

I've just done a google search on Caruna, Spain. Appears mostly associated with the seaside, but there are some inland shots detailing open areas covered with that short, blonde 'dead-grass' sort of look. So it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

I remember driving from La Coruņa to Leon, and it becoming very dusty, and I think dark red as we travelled. But it was a long time ago. But a lot of that north coast is craggy and piney and green.

Can you switch location to the south coast - Andalusia? I've been inland from Malaga, Benidorm etc, as far as Alhambra and it's pretty rocky, dry and dusty, with scrubland and bare orange earth. Becomes more of a plane as you move inland past the coastal mountains.

Hey Naomi
Have posted the piece and think it's ok set where it is but if I do anything more with it I'll think about a change.
Thanks
