Here's what it wants to do to one of my sentences
Original: Sarah was at the front, small and sickly, with her eyes fixed on her husband, like a small animal fascinated by a snake.
WORD suggestion: A snake at the front, pale and sickly, with her eyes fixed on her husband, like a small animal fascinated Sarah.

The WORD suggestion hurts my brain.

You're right Pete. Maybe I should accept all the suggestions and creat a new kind of book altogether. I could be famous! How about a new religion? 'In the beginning was WORD and WORD was god'
No offence meant to anyone by the way.

How do you get it to do that?

It sounds to me like the result of an exercise I sometimes use with creative writing students, all writing a word or a line independently of one another...
-
There's a thought Anna. WORD as creative writing tutor!
Sorry Pete? Do what?

I've never had faith in computers telling me anything about my writing since the early days of spell-checkers, when I was working on social work textbooks, and it kept trying to change 'handicapped' to 'bandicoot'.
