Hi all,

I'm nearing completion of the final daft of my novel and need some language help. It is set in a fictional West African country and there are occasional Yoruba phrases in the dialogue. I remember a little from when I lived in Nigeria and have a grammar guide/dictionary, but would love to be able to run it by a competent speaker and writer of the language.

Sorry Harry, never even heard of it, let alone speak it. Hope you get some help though. Can you not find any translations on the internet?

You might want to ping a ww mail to liesl jobson, as she's from down Africa way. not sure whether she speaks the lingo, but she has a pretty firm grasp on all things African.
