Ha ha! The Kindle's not really so cumbersome, Emma - when you get used to it! But it could certainly be designed more efficiently. I must admit I love my Kindle for reading through a 'nearly' final version of a draft because it takes me that step further from reading on a computer screen, or even a print out. I also like the economy (once you've purchased the Kindle, of course) in that it costs me less than £2 to upload a word doc to my kindle via my email and paper/ink is so expensive for printing.
But when I do print out, I print two document pages to a sheet of paper and at that size it's also quite like reading a book.
Good luck, Debac - and don't be disheartened if you spot lots of things to correct of change - that's all part of the jigsaw at this stage. Don't be afraid to make improvements if that is your gut reaction.
