From the inside, it looks like three, four, five to me, but it might look different from the outside. I'd have put you as leaning more towards one; perhaps that's your 'wing'

It's always interesting to compare how we see ourselves and how others (including quizzes) see us. That takes me back to college and good old Pirandello again. I'm flattered that you think I'm a self-controlled 1 - I wish I could be more like that and resist the wonderful rum and coconut icecream in my freezer (it's 30 degrees outside, that's my excuse, although I know that's super-lame...).

As for your trio of types, you are clearly more complex than me and would probably make a marvellous spook

My all time favourite is Dorothy Rowe's theories of introversion and extraversion (in her book The Successful Self - unfortunately couldn't find any online test or anything).

Honey and Mumford's learning styles is good too (it's meant to be about how people learn, but I think it says loads more about a person than that). http://www.campaign-for-learning.org.uk/aboutyourlearning/whatlearning.htm The online test is £10, though!

But hey, seeing as Star Wars has been such a topic of interest this week, how about finding out which Star Wars character you are?! And it's meant to be a legit psychological test....

I've used this in language teaching. Betty Lou Leaver has written a number of books that incorporate the various learning styles into teaching approaches. Fascinating stuff. The book which I used the most is called Teaching the Whole Class. Extremely interesting and well written.

BTW, just did the Ennegram short test, thinking I'd probably be 5 or 4, and I did end up as a 5. (However, my score in the 4 sector was much lower than I had expected!)

It seems I am 84% Yoda, and I thought I'd been dating Yoda - OMG, have I been dating myself )! I'm also 79% Mon Mothma (who???) and 79% Luke Skywalker. And I thought I was the Princess...

Star Wars characters mean nothing to me, but did it yesterday, anyway, out of procrastination and being too hungover to do much else.

I was 83% Admiral Ackbar and 80% Wicket (Again, who???). Still, both very attractive creatures in the pics, who do kind of resemble me with a hangover....
