Grandad?

I know it should be Granddad, but it just looks wrong with the two 'd' in it!

I think 'Grandad' is the accepted spelling, even though it 'should' be 'Granddad'.

But I have to say, Katerina, that the the idea of using Grandad is despicable. After all those Werther's Originals he gave you, as well.

I always called my Grandad, 'Grampy', I suppose it was easier to say as a kid

google search comes up with loads of 'grandad's so it's probably fine.

Greeting cards use 'Grandad'.
