    On the surface, PJ does seem a little like the American HP.


    Especially because of the trailer that is currently running on TV.

    It's funny, my kids are big fans of the Percy Jackson books, but they don't like the look of the film at all. They've actually said they don't want to see the film. Not sure why, but they didn't have that reaction to the Harry Potter movies.

    I think the last three HP movies have been far superior to the books. Probably one of the rare times I can say that.
