  • Second person narration

I know the question of writing in second person crops up occasionally, and thought this book might interest anyone who's interested in tangling with it. It's a longish review of an academic book:

BRIAN RICHARDSON, Unnatural Voices: Extreme Narration in Modern and Contemporary Fiction
(Columbus: Ohio State UP, 2006), pp. 166, cloth, $55.95, paper, $24.95, CD, $9.95..

Thanks Emma, this does look interesting, although the academic language is almost impenetrable in places. Personally I'd like to read a discussion of the first person plural narrative in, for instance, Karen Joy Fowler's The Jane Austen Book Club - she plays so many sly tricks with it.
