Rod, I would suggest getting into the habit of adding emoticons to your posts, then people will know if you're joking or not.

Thanks Dee - you're right. That unsmilie was supposed to be a joke, more than adequately demonstrating that my humour misfires even when I use the blasted things.

Words are so inadequate. One person writes a sentence. Another reads it. And in between stretch miles and miles of misunderstanding.

Rod, your posts make me laugh. I thought it was clear you were joking, but I'm often guilty too, of being flippant but coming over as serious.
