Apologies, JB you are of course correct. I must be going cross-eyed from staring at a screen too long. TV time now, though: The Apprentice with lots of scary, thrusting people and Donald Trump's scary, thrusting hairpiece.

    Adele.

The Apprentice? As in The Apprentice by Tess Gerritson?

I read The Surgeon last year. Brilliant read if you have a strong stomach. I sent her an email to say it had scared the shit out of me - she replied saying she was delighted!

Hi Dee, no, The Apprentice as in the US reality TV show in which thrusting young people battle to become the protege of property billionaire Donald Trump:

I find it very entertaining. It's being remade in the UK with Alan Sugar as the mentor. Sugar may be successful , but I don't think either he or his lifestyle are remotely glamorous. The winner will probably get the chance to eat a lot of pies on the terraces at which ever grungey ground Spurs play at (White Hart Lane?) - Nein Danke.

    Adele.
