The wonderful Johnners (Brian Johnstone R.I.P.)came out with the classic, "The batsman's Holding, the bowler's Willey" - not quite a dangling modifier if you include the comma, but quite unforgettable!

Yes it could be a myth, but it's one that I perpetuate. Having googled it, I see that it's attributed to someone called Don Mosey (who he, ed?). I loved Johnners, though. I always meant to bake him a cake, but never got round to it.

As for Scottish football, the best ever headline has to be "Super Cally go Ballistic, Celtic are Atrocious"!

I'm very fond of the chicks. As regards cars I have a Micra and a Rover, one for transporting anything and the other for the chicks.

One of my chicks has a Lotus, it's bright yellow... the Lotus, not the chick... so Aston Martins are OK but I prefer the Lotus.
