Whatever you’re on, Zettel, can I have some?
Len’s exercise about pretending you don’t know something familiar reminded me of something that intrigues me: try looking at something familiar through a mirror. It’s amazing how much you see and how different it appears.

Have you been peeking at my unposted stuff again Dee!
What did I tell you about that!

In case you're wondering there's a chatper about that very thing.

Dee makes a good point about the exercise I mentioned... the use of a mirror. Sometimes one sees oneself in two mirrors where one is set at right angles to the other. What one sees is one's true image, not the face one normally sees.
It is amazing how different one looks... there was this stranger I had never seen before. I experienced this in a Restaurant the other evening... most disappointing. The meal was lovely.
