Is it the norm to add one or two spaces after a full stop? I've always done two.

I asked this recently, Dr Q, and got various responses, but I gathered one space for everything was the way to do it nowadays. If you want to look for the thraed, I think it was called 'spacing'. Lots of responses, plus an explanation from someone, Daisy?, as to why it should be one space.

Yes, the thread was called Spacing. Type spacing into the search box and it should come up.

When I learnt to type it was three spaces. Everything seems to be shrinking as I get older!!!
