Oh, interesting - thanks Naomi. So does that mean they expect that book to appeal to men and not women? Don't know if you've read it but I find that very surprising since I didn't find it particularly male in style at all. I thought it would appeal to lots of people of both genders but it is fundamentally about relationships, which is usually thought of as a more female area.
There are (IIRC) two male viewpoint characters and two female viewpoint characters and all 4 are given roughly equal weight. One (a man in his 60s) stands out as the MC, but only very slightly, and some may not think so - I thought so because it's him that has the spot of bother from the title, and a lot of it revolves around him having a breakdown, but from four different family members' POVs.
