Griff, you should run a weekly caption contest as a thread on the Lounge

Well I'm half way to being sectionable, so maybe I'd better do it. Do you think I'd be allowed to put the New Yorker one up each week?

How about:-
No, it's definitely better counting sheep.

Or better put:
Nah, counting sheep still works best.

Hubby's suggestions were:
"Missed again"
"Mummy" (as in, first thing a chick sees when it hatches)
"Boo!"

Griff, I don't find The V of D funny either. In fact I have to hide my head in a cushion. But Richard Armitage was very pretty - lucky old Dawn.

Hi NMott, good choice from the cartoon bank, made me laugh!
Yeah I'm sure you'd be allowed to link to the
New Yorker
contest every week, if you wanted to run it in the Lounge.

Haven't watched much Vicar of Dibley, but I LOVED Dawn French in 'Jam and Jerusalem'. Which I thought was an example of new British comedy at it's best.

I love Bonkers starring Lisa Tarbuck on ITV. Completely mad and very funny.

I've just been watching a DVD of the first series of
Black Books
When it comes to sitcoms I think it takes a lot of beating...
