You know on your pages, you put the book title, page number and your name at the top of each page, well do people put theirs on the left ot the right?
Is there a correct side?
I have always put mine on the left, so that it looks like this -
Chapters of Life 148 - Katerina T Davis
His hands gripped he steering wheel as he brought the car to a halt....
But, should it be like this -
Chapters of Life 148 - Katerina T Davis
His hands gripped the steering wheel as he brought the car to a halt...
See I don't think it looks right the seocnd way.

Oh bugger, when I typed this, the second example had the title etc on the right. You get what I mean though.

I'm not sure if there's protocol on this issue, but, FWIW, apart from the writing, I only had page numbers on each page. I did have a title page at the front that had my name, address, email, home telephone, mobile, pager, emergency contact, available carrier pidgeon...

I have all that info at the bottom of the page, because otherwise it really jars when you're reading and turn the page, and no one's ever complained.
For what it's worth, I stick to what I want for my own purposes: I have my name in the LH side, with the filename underneath it - the filename is the book title and chapter number, i.e. MathematicsLove04.doc. Then automatically-updating date in the centre, and page number on the RH side.

And yes, title, name, address, phone, wordcount etc. on the first page, and name address and phone on an extra sheet at the back, so that can get battered rather than the last page of the story.
