Never understood the Sendak stuff until my baby girl came along, but now I am in awe of how good it is.

Yes, I read them all to my daughter too. Her favourite was 'In the Night Kitchen'. I'm going to get them all out tonight and have a Sendakathon.

Yes, RIP indeed.

I love Seuss too - grew up on him, and brought my children up on him - but I think Sendak is something else entirely...
