Im looking for some good poetry books or any good poets, mainly modern poets. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi Reg, you might want to look at The Rialto magazine; its editor, Michael Mackmin is a genius, and has helped me to appreciate the subtlety of modern poetry more than I can say. There are a few poems posted on the site with in-depth analyses.

Reg, what about Jeremy Hooker - we looked at him in the Poetry Seminar Group recently and though I struggled with the poem we looked at intially, it has stuck with me since.
We discussed June Jordan too...
