Got to big up this debut collection of poems - fun, wordplay-y, difficult yet accessible. Had me chuckling a helluva lot. Published by Faber, which, for a debut poet, is amazing.
Ooh, glad to hear it, I've got this on my must-buy list, it sounds as if it's worth it then?
Every penny! I thought I'd tired of the immigrant experience stuff, but this was magical. Funny, full of yearning - unlike a lot of first generation Indians he has a lot of sympathy for his parents migrations. Some of it was difficult for me and I had to re-re-read, but, compared to most of the put-your-brain-in-neutral stuff we get, I enjoyed the challenge.

I mean difficult in a textual sense, not in some emotional journey thing...
