Alan Moore is great, yeah. Love those Swamp Thing stories! I like a lot of those Vertigo titles.

Wilbur Smith. Actually haven't read one for years but went through a late teenage phase of devouring these and have just remembered how much I loved them - great lurid stories and characters. Also loved the Modesty Blaise books about the same time...

Hi, yeah, me too. I read the Sean Courtney novels and also one about a salvage mission to Antarctica. I enjoyed them all, so thanks for reminding me about them.

I was living in South Africa at the time, and Wilbur Smith certainly helped me get to grips with the place.
