Pleased to report I had one poem in the top 15 of Leaf Books' "In Love" poetry comp & another in the top 15 of their "Out of Love" comp. (Sounds like a well-balanced life, methinks ...)
Both pieces are on this site: "Can't cook, don't cook" & "Gossamer disconnection". They asked my permission to remove the last line from the former, on the grounds that their judging panel thought it better without it, and I decided to say yes. I suppose sometimes we have to prostitute ourselves for our art?
The top 15s have each been published today as anthologies of love poetry. They're clearly trying to catch the Valentine's Day market.
