I found out today that my novel, Ikorodu Road (known on WW as Majidun), made the commended list for the Yeovil Literary Prize. It's been a great confidence boost, so a huge thank you to everyone who has been reading and commenting, your advice has been invaluable.

Secondly, many congratulations to Sion, whose excellent 'Somnambulant' took the second prize.

Well done all of you - even if I am jealous! Not really - I recognise a couple of the novels in question, though not all, as I haven't been on the site all that long, but I'm sure the accolades are just as well deserved in all cases.
