Thanks, Sion. I think I can thank you for this, actually! When you mentioned Gator Springs in an earlier post, I had gone back to the site trying to see the on-line contents, somehow ended up subscribing, and then was prompted to submit something because I had a free contest enmtry with my subscription (I'm doing the bi-mnthly payment plan, otherwise you can submit as many entries as you want with a full subscription). And I submitted just a few hours before the deadline, too! So there was certainly some luck involved here.....

I agree, where else do ideas come from? And how else do you explain literary agents and publishers other than by means of Schrodinger's cat? (Your MS is both alive and dead at the same time, while it sits with them).
