Hello everybody

I am thrilled to say that I've been selected as a semi-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. Amazon are running a global competition to find a great new novelist and hey ho, here I am... winner of this gets an international publishing deal so as you can imagine, I am fairly keen to win. YOU CAN HELP ME!

Entries are being judged partly by customers ie. people reviewing the excerpts online. The better the review and the more of them I have, the closer I come to winning. I would REALLY appreciate it if you could all post a review and spread the word; feel free to pass onto your family, friends, acquaintances, that bloke called Bernard you met at the bus-stop, random strangers etc to post me a review. A good review. So, if you hate the extract, please don't worry about it

The most well written reviews will also be in with a chance of winning an Amazon kindle reader (whatever that is), $2000 in Amazon gift cards and a HP photo printer, so there's an extra incentive to post, as well as having the pleasure of helping out little old moi.

Sorry, meant to add that you can only post a review if you've bought something from Amazon but I doubt that'll be a problem for anyone here :)

I know someone else who is on this short-list. She has said, however, that in order to post a review someone has to have bought from amazon.com (the USA site) and not amazon.co.uk. This may prove unhelpful to UK entrants.
