I don't know how many of you have heard about the new competition to write a chick lit novel. It's being run by Sphere and Cosmopolitan along with Waterstones. I read about it in the Books Quarterly mag from Waterstones. I don't think it's really being promoted til next month though.
You need to enter a full synopsis and first 3000 words. The prize is to be published by a 'major UK publisher' although it doesn't say anything about advances/royalties/contracts etc.
Just thought it might interest some people.
