I am planning on entering my novel for the Writers and Artists Yearbook Comp. The rules state you should send a one page synopsis and the first 10,000 words, and that the work should be double spaced. Does this mean the synopsis should be double spaced also? If so, I am really stuck because it has taken a lot of work to get the whole plot into one single-spaced page!
Thanks,
Shelley
Synopses aren't usually double-spaced, because they're not expecting to edit them, so I wouldn't have thought that would be different here.

Thanks Emma. I was hoping that was the case, though it has been a good exercise in forcing me to really look at what can be cut out! But I'm still over a page if it's double spaced.
