Today's the day! Congratulations. Where can I get one of those signed copies? Foyles?
-
Ah, thanks guys!
Roger, at the moment the only signed ones are in Ottakars, but I'm doing a round of central London bookshops on Wednesday (including Foyles, I think) so I can let you know then.
I was in Croydon this morning (school socks, underwear, the list said) and went into Waterstone's and Books etc. there, and offered to sign their stock, and they said yes please. Doing that's the kind of thing I'd normally die rather than do, which is why I'm in awe of the self-publishers.

Yes indeed, congratulations on your publication day Emma, a long road but a worthwhile one I would imagine.
<Added>
Are any signed copies going to be making their way down to Bristol?
-
Thanks, Sibelius. Are you anywhere near an Ottakars? I know they're strong in the West Country, and all their stock is signed.
Roger, just confirmed I'm signing Goldsboro's stock on Wednesday, so they will have some (and Foyles too, I think)

Anna, thanks for that. Dulwich Books - may their shelves never grow emptier - have just been voted Best Bookshop in the LBC Living London competition, no less!
TinyClanger, thank you.

Emma,
You'll be very pleased to hear that I bought my copy today in Payot librarie in Geneva. Your publisher is doing their job very well, as there was a nice, prominent pile of them - hard to miss! Have already read the first fifteen pages, and am hooked. Great writing.

Darren, nice to know it's out there, and glad you're enjoying it. Is that the export edition - a nice, fat trade paperback? According to my editor Headline's European sales team are scary, so they've obviously whipped your bookshop into line!

Congrats, Emma - hope you're enjoying your day.
