Hi,
Someone vaguely mentioned to me that there's a conference each year in Winchester where unpublished writers can pitch their ideas to publishers/agents. Sounds scary but exciting. Does anybody know any details please? Does it still exist?

It's a great weekend, and I highly recommend that people do go if they can. I always get a lot of inspiration and help from the seminars and workshops, though I have to say my dealings in the one-to-ones have never been that good!...

Goldenford will be hosting a table at the conference, showcasing our own books, plus those of other small publishers, so please do come along and say hello if you're there - would love to meet you, even if you don't buy anything!

... although it looks as though I've left it a bit late for this year. Material for one-to-ones needed to be submitted by June 9th. Oh well.

Still worth going for the seminars/workshops though. And you can often get a last minute one-to-one if you ask on the day you arrive.
