I sent a proposal for a stage show to the Cafe Direct 5065 Lift company for their Edinburgh Festival programme and they have accepted it!! I've yet to come up with a title but it will be performed in the actual lift at 9.20pm each night during the festival.

Julie, excellent, I sounds like a lot of fun. An actress/writer friend had one last year and it got picked up and had a brief run at the Soho Theatre so worth doing for the exposure- it always gets good PR. I'll stick this on our 'success stories' page if I may. Keep us posted about dates etc and we'll publicise it.

Oh thankyou everyone, it's such a warm feeling to have all your support. Elspeth, there will be 7 actors in all, I think 4 girls, 3 boys but they are in the company and not necessarily in mine. I haven't worked it all out yet. But it's based on the Flash Fiction phase I've been going through, kind of Flash Theatre if you like. Anna, they told me about the Soho being a possibility which is great. I want to thank everyone who commented on my little stories I'm convinced you all helped me immesurably in the final drafts. I'll let you know more details closer to the time, oh and Dee, yes a freshly brewed cup of Fairtrade coffee is winging its way to you.
