I am so excited, I just wanted to share this. One of my short stories- "The Answers to Life's Questions" has been accepted by Lightload Monthly for publication on their website. Another- "I didn't know" has been accepted by Flashshot.
I have never had anything published before, so sorry if I'm getting a bit too excited over very little, but I'm sure you guys remember the first time...

Isn't it a great feeling! Especially after tons of rejections. It makes you have a bit more faith in your ability.

I felt like this a couple of weeks ago when I had an article accepted by The Lady.

Even something little, means so much doesn't it.

Well done Saz. I don't think that feeling of being published for the first time can be adequately summed up in words, but it tells you at least three important things.

1) Your writing is print-worthy and you are not wasting your time.

2) You are heading in the right direction to be a professional writer.

3)Your talent is about to reach by non-writer readers and that is always the best thing, in my opinion.

Sazzy, that's so brilliant. I'm delighted for you. This is definitely not something to play down. I've been a journalist for years and had lots of things printed, but never fiction.... The first time that happens for me will be a huge red letter day too.
